  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
  • Bamboo skewers

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Soak bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, sesame oil, and vegetarian oyster sauce.
  4. Add the chicken to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly.
  5. Cut green onions into 1-inch pieces.
  6. Thread chicken and green onion onto soaked skewers alternately.
  7. Marinate assembled skewers in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or overnight).
  8. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat; brush with oil.
  9. Grill skewers for 6-8 minutes per side until fully cooked and slightly charred, basting with glaze during cooking.
