Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup white chocolate chips (melted for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by lining it with foil and spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then stir in the cocoa powder until combined. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Add the cooled butter mixture and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick; it should come out clean. Cool completely before cutting.
  6. For decoration, fill a small ziplock bag with melted white chocolate and pipe a spider web pattern on top of each brownie.
