  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bok choy by washing it thoroughly and chopping it into bite-sized pieces, separating stalks from leaves.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger in the skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add bok choy stalks to the skillet and stir-fry for about 2 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. Introduce bok choy leaves into the skillet, stirring for another 2-3 minutes until wilted and bright green.
  6. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, red chili flakes, and sesame oil to create the ginger chili sauce.
  7. Pour the sauce over the bok choy in the skillet, tossing everything to coat evenly. Cook for an additional minute.
  8. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste before serving immediately.
