  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/8 cup parsley (chopped, or use 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, onion, milk, breadcrumbs, ketchup, parsley, granulated garlic, pepper, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf form and place it in an 8×10-inch casserole dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the glaze ingredients: ketchup and brown sugar. Brush generously over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Allow cooling for about 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
