  • 1 refrigerated pie crust roll
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix canned pumpkin, brown sugar, maple flavoring, pumpkin pie spice, and a dash of salt until well blended.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pie crust on a floured surface into a thin rectangle (approx. 6×22 inches) and cut into 8 rectangles.
  4. Place one rectangle on a baking sheet, spoon the pumpkin mixture into the center, and top with another rectangle.
  5. Crimp the edges with a fork to seal securely.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For the glaze, combine powdered sugar, additional maple flavoring, and milk in a small bowl; spoon over cooled poptarts.
