Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz fresh button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 cup full-fat sour cream
  • 1 tsp agar-agar powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté onions until translucent; then add mushrooms and garlic, cooking until tender.
  3. Push veggies aside and increase heat. Add sliced beef in batches, browning lightly without cooking all the way through.
  4. Pour in beef broth and agar-agar powder; stir well as it simmers.
  5. Reduce heat to low and fold in sour cream until fully combined.
  6. Serve over noodles or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
