2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup pineapple juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
Place chicken thighs in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure each piece is coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat while the chicken marinates.
Remove chicken from the marinade (reserve excess marinade) and grill for 6–8 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
Baste with reserved marinade while grilling for enhanced flavor.
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F before removing from the grill.
Let the grilled chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and garnish with chopped green onions.
