  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with vegetable spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and oil. Beat for two minutes until well mixed.
  3. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Let cool for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces and mix with frosting until combined.
  6. Shape mixture into small balls, place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and chill for at least two hours.
  7. Melt candy melts in intervals in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  8. Dip one end of each stick into melted candy before inserting it into each chilled cake ball.
  9. Dip each cake pop into the melted candy until fully coated and let excess drip off before placing back on parchment paper.
  10. Decorate while still wet with desired toppings.
