  • 8 oz short pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil water in a large pot.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into golf-sized meatballs.
  4. Brown meatballs in a skillet with olive oil over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix cooked pasta with marinara sauce and half of the cheese. Gently fold in meatballs.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly.
