  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of turkey
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound until they are about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Lay turkey slices and Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Set up your breading station with separate bowls for flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each roll in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Sear the rolls in melted butter in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown on all sides.
  7. Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  8. For the sauce, melt remaining butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, gradually add milk, then stir in Swiss cheese until smooth.
