  • 3 black olives (for eyes)
  • 1 piece of red bell pepper (for tongues)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Cut olives into small pieces for eyes and slice the red bell pepper into forked tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough and cut it into 12 strips.
  4. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope, tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each rope around greased chopsticks or metal straws in a spiral shape.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds.
  7. Place olive pieces on the head for eyes.
  8. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11-15 minutes until golden brown; cool briefly before removing chopsticks.
  9. Insert red pepper pieces into the heads as tongues while still warm.
