  • 4 cups fresh strawberries (chopped)
  • 4 cups fresh pineapple (chopped)
  • 4 bananas (sliced)
  • 23 cups prepared whipped topping
  • 810 cherries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to package directions. Allow it to cool before cubing.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and vanilla until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted.
  3. In serving jars or a trifle bowl, layer cubed cake, pudding, chopped strawberries, pineapple pieces, and banana slices. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with whipped topping and garnishing with cherries.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
